Supporting our local communities and working with charities is important to us and our people.
Our people are actively involved in the selection of our charity partner and since 2022 we have supported Air Ambulances UK (AAUK). When the partnership ends in December 2024 in line with the final year of our current strategic cycle, a new charity partnership will be selected.
AAUK is the national organisation championing the vital work of the UK’s 21 regional air ambulance charities. Air ambulances receive no government funding and rely almost entirely on donations.
In addition to volunteering days, we organise and support a variety of fundraising events for AAUK. With our hybrid working model, we offer a varied programme to give our people various opportunities to get involved.
Whilst some of our people choose to exert themselves physically in the name of AAUK, our efforts are not limited to marathons.
Within our offices we regularly host Brew for the Crew, where hot drinks and snacks can be purchased throughout the working day. We get involved in walking and step challenges, such as our Ageas Torch Relay Challenge.
From a Eurovision sweepstake to Christmas card design competitions, our people have and continue to make us proud.
We are grateful we are able to support such a great charity and in doing so, contribute to AAUK’s lifesaving work.
